Acceptable Use Policy
This Policy sets out what you may not do with Icarus hosting. It is part of our Terms of Service. Breaking it can lead to suspension or termination, without a refund where the law and our Terms allow.
1. Prohibited use
- Illegal activity or content.
- Malware, phishing, botnets or spam.
- Denial-of-service attacks, port scanning, or any other attack on other people, other customers or our network.
- Cryptocurrency mining, unless we have agreed to it in writing.
- Copyright infringement.
- Breaking a game publisher’s license agreement, including Mojang’s and Microsoft’s for Minecraft.
- Accessing systems, servers or customer data you are not authorized to access.
- Reselling or subleasing the service without our written permission.
- Trying to get around abuse protections or fair-use limits.
2. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate the services involved. We may report illegal activity to the authorities.
