Privacy Policy
This Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our game server hosting, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website and the panel and billing pages that go with it.
1. Who we are
Icarus provides Minecraft and other game server hosting. Contact: [email protected], Houston, Texas, USA.
2. Information we collect
- Account: your email, username and optional display name; a hashed password (never the password itself); two-factor and passkey details if you turn them on; and the account ID of a sign-in provider such as Discord if you link one.
- Billing: payments are handled by Stripe. We receive the payment status, card brand and last four digits. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Service: your server and join addresses, actions taken in the panel, the server types, modpacks and vaults you choose, resource usage, and the logs we need to run and secure the service.
- Website: cookies, device and browser data, approximate location from your IP address, and analytics if we enable them.
- Support: the messages and attachments you send us.
3. How we use information
To run your servers and the panel; to bill you and prevent fraud; to size and recommend a plan for the game or modpack you pick; to run features such as multiple vaults; to keep the service reliable; to send account and order emails; and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Service providers
Stripe for payments; the infrastructure that hosts the panel and game servers; an email delivery service; and an analytics provider only if we enable one. They process data only to provide their services to us, under contract.
5. Cookies
We use necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect sign-in and checkout. We don’t use analytics or marketing cookies today; if we add them we will say so here and ask for consent where the law requires it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but signing in needs the necessary ones.
6. Retention
We keep account and billing records while your account is open and afterwards as long as we need them for tax, disputes and other legal duties. Security and operations logs are kept for a limited period, then deleted or anonymized. You can ask us to delete your data; some records we are required to keep.
7. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it. Where the law sets a higher age or requires a guardian’s consent, we follow it.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on the US state you live in, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or take a copy of your information, or to opt out of certain sharing. Email [email protected] to make a request. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights. We do not sell personal information as US state privacy laws define it.
9. Security and where data is processed
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method is completely secure. Your information is processed in the United States.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy and will post the new effective date here. We may also email you about material changes. Questions: [email protected], Houston, TX.
